Biologging Solutions was established to develop biologging, which was born in Japan by Dr. Yasuhiko Naito (Professor Emeritus, National Institute of Polar Research), and to provide world-leading solutions. We are developing every day to create the “ultimate device” by using Japanese microfabrication technology and intricate design and development. Biologging provides us with the most exciting discoveries. We are developing the LoggLaw series as a device to log some “laws” of living organisms and nature.

LoggLaw C Series

LoggLaw C6

Geolocator with acceleration sensor for migratory marine animals

In addition to depth, internal temperature, external temperature, and illumination, this geolocator is equipped with a 3-axis acceleration sensor. It is possible to simultaneously measure the light-based geolocation information (latitude and longitude) and depth of migrating aquatic organisms, as well as the experienced temperature and the activity of the aquatic organisms.

LoggLaw C7

Small Geolocator for migratory marine animals

It is equipped with depth, internal temperature, external temperature, and illumination sensors. It is smaller and more power-efficient than the LoggLaw C6. It is possible to simultaneously measure the light-based geolocation information (latitude and longitude) and depth of migrating aquatic organisms, as well as the experienced temperature.

LoggLaw C8

Small Geolocator for migratory marine animals

It is equipped with depth, internal temperature, external temperature, and illumination sensors. It is small as LoggLaw C7 but can measure deeper depth (up to 1000m) than LoggLaw C7. It is possible to simultaneously measure the light-based geolocation information (latitude and longitude) and depth of migrating aquatic organisms, as well as the experienced temperature.

LoggLaw CAM Series

LoggLaw CAM

Underwater Video Logger with Hydrophone

This is a video logger with a schedule function that can be used at a depth of 500m. It is equipped with an infrared LED for night time shooting. It can also be equipped with a hydrophone (underwater microphone) so that you can understand the underwater environment from both underwater sound and video.
