Overview of LoggLaw C7XI
In addition to the conventional loggers (C7 and C8) with depth, internal temperature, external temperature, and light sensors with stalks, the LoggLaw C7XI is also equipped with acceleration and magnetometers. Until now, when equipped with acceleration and magnetometers, measurements can only be performed for a few weeks at most, which is not sufficient for measuring the ecology and movement of migratory fish. In addition to the geolocation function with a high-precision clock (up to ±95 seconds @ 25°C per year), which is the basic performance of the previous C7 and C8 series, the LoggLaw C7XI is newly equipped with an accelerometer and magnetometer that can measure over a long period of several years.

– Amount of activity (energy consumption)
– Caudal fin frequency (growth)
– Geolocation where illumination does not reach
– Orientation change (navigation)
– Detailed understanding of behavior (feeding, spawning behavior, etc.)
