Biologging Solutions Inc.
Biologging Solutions Inc. provides a series of “solutions” based on biologging techniques. The company was founded by biologging researcher in Japan. Our experience starts from our B.S. M.S., and Ph.D. research mainly conducted at Biosphere Info. Lab. at Kyoto University. Combining Japanese manufacture technologies and our research experiences gained through long practical uses in field experiments, we develop and produce various kind of electronic tags (data logger). It is also our specialty to create a custom-made electronic tags and software for researcher’s need.

He earned his B.A. in Environmental Studies at University of California Santa Cruz in 2008. In 2011, he finished his M.S. in informatics at the Graduate School of Informatics of Kyoto University. He spent his childhood nearby the ocean which led him to be interested in Marine life. He has studied on northern elephant seals and sea turtles in his academic career . Also, he has dedicated himself entirely to the conservation of coral reefs in Ishigaki island, Okinawa, Japan. His dream is to educate the next generation of children about the importance of science and environmental issues through Biologging.

He finished his Ph.D. at the Graduate School of Informatics of Kyoto University in 2012. He worked on developing the world first animal-attached data logger using a gyroscope during his Ph.D. study. Since then, he worked on developing various biologging techniques and research using the developed techniques. His speciality includes Informatics, Marine Biology, and Data minings.
